South of the main house, this early 18th century multipurpose building was possibly erected on the foundations of an old trading post. It contains a basement kitchen and first and second story living quarters. This brick and clapboard building was once the home to the Mabee family's slaves. Later, in the 19th century, it became the home of Eva Mabee, and she lived there until the age of 92. It was boarded up after her death in the mid 19th century and remains in remarkably untouched condition.
